A pair of double-crescent gold earrings dressed in polki/uncut diamonds set using the traditional jadai technique.
The double crescent is suspended from an elaborately designed top kunan-set with diamonds. Suspended from both the crescents are gem-set and pearl-cluster strands. The first, third, and fifth strands suspended from the lower crescent feature a gem-set unit with fringes of seed pearls, and turquoise, emerald, red, and green enameled beads, commonly known as laria. The second and fourth strands consist only of the laria.
An emblem of peace and calm, the crescent moon symbolizes the Great Divine Mother (Shakti) and female power.
