A gold and pearl fringed choker necklace set with polki/uncut diamonds using the jadai technique with chilai details around the stones. At the center is an eight-petal rosette dressed in kundan-set diamonds, nesting in the arc of two crescent moons and bordered with emerald beads. Two identical smaller diamond-set rosettes, bordered with seed pearls and emeralds, flank it on either side.
Suspended from the trinity of rosettes are eleven diamond and gem-set strands. Each rosette holds one kundan-set inverted crescent pendant with fringes of tourmaline cabochons, seed pearls, emeralds, and red enameled beads, commonly known as laria. The design showcases 10 man-hours of skillful pirai, the craft of stringing beads using thin gold wire.
An emblem of peace and calm, the crescent moon symbolizes the Great Divine Mother (Shakti) and female power.
